at least in the season 2 finale of Buffy - they got to kiss and BOTH say I love you - before one of them got sucked into a hell dimension...
plus - she isn't *dead* - just in an alternate dimension. so that's a ... plus?

It is a plus.
When I watched "Doomsday" I was just relieved that they didn't kill off Rose in some stupid Joss-ian way, or have her just stay behind somewhere. I was glad they treated it with the seriousness it deserved. Even if it brings the pain.

Isn't it the saddest thing you've ever seen on television? There's a good reason a lot of Rose fans are completely unable to rewatch "Doomsday."
So, I totally understand.
